Boy's Pre-teen Equipping Class (For guys 11 to 12 years) This class was developed to give the pre-teens an alternative from our children's church we call Kidztown. Some kids may feel that they are too old for Kidztown and too young for the adult services so we offer this class as another avenue to equip our pre-teens. However, we do strongly recommend that if your pre-teen attends this class that you also have them attend the adult or student services as well. They will need to transition into the adult church someday. You can make that transition easier by having them attend now. Let this class be a supplement to the service not a substitute. This class meets each Sunday morning in room 207 at 9:00 am. Girls Pre-teen & Juniors Equipping Class This class was developed to give the young ladies an alternative from our children's church we call Kidztown. Some kids may feel that they are too old for Kidztown and too young for the adult services so we offer this class as another avenue to equip young ladies. However, we do strongly recommend that if your daughter attends this class that you also have her attend the adult or student services as well. She will need to transition into the adult church someday. You can make that transition easier by having her attend now. Let this class be a supplement to the service not a substitute. This class meets each Sunday morning in room 205 at 9:00 am. Juniors Equipping Class (For guys 13 to 14 years) This is a wonderful equipping class for our young men. We offer this class as another avenue to equip our Juniors. However, we do strongly recommend that if your son attends this class that you also have him attend the adult or student services as well. He will need to transition into the adult church someday. You can make that transition easier by having him attend now. Let this class be a supplement to the service not a substitute. This class meets each Sunday morning in room 207 at 9:00 am. Crossroads (For guys and gals 11-14 years) The purpose of Crossroads is to provide a fun filled approach to build intimacy with God and one another by using a variety of events and methods that appeal to the interest of kids between the ages of 11 to 14. With parental involvement and solid adult leadership we hope to see the character of Christ developed in each life. Crossroads will meet once a month and will include both the guys and gals. This will be a fun-filled event filled with a variety of activities. James and Rhonda Triplett are leading this group, but they will need parental participation too. Come get involved in an exciting new ministry at Harvest. We will be announcing the start up date soon, so keep watch in the bulletin. If you would like to help please call James or Rhonda at 686-0905 or email them at jrchjt5@verizon.net The Gathering (For guys and gals of all ages) Our Sunday night gatherings provide a great opportunity to learn, be encouraged, and challenged with powerful messages and scripture from Pastor Mike. We look forward to meeting you every Sunday night at 6 p.m. at Harvest Assembly of God as we grow together as lovers and warriors of God. This service covers a broad range of ages. You will find people there from 11 years of age to college and career age. Mom's and dad's are encouraged to come to the service along with your pre-teen and and see if this is a good fit for you and your pre-teen. Kidztown (For guys and gals 6 to 12 years) Your pre-teens can also go to Kidztown. Kidztown covers 6 years to 12 years of age. However, we recognize that kids mature at different rates. There are 12 year olds in Kidztown who are very happy in Kidztown and are receiving much. On the other hand, there are 12 year olds who are ready for something else. That is why we offer the alternative equipping classes mentioned above. That way the 11 and 12 year olds along with their parents can choose which they like best. Kidztown Royal Rangers & Missionettes (For guys and gals up to 18 years) If your pre-teen is looking for something to do during the week we highly recommend Royal Rangers (for guys) or Missionettes (for the gals). Kids this age really love these groups. There are a lot of great activities and lots of time to build friendships. To find out more about these groups please check on the links below.
